Santa has elves that help with all our gifts

But this particular one, and his little pal need a special lift.

So, to Santa, they both made a very sincere plea

To be hired - for they each had a need, you see!

Santa, you need a Keeper of Gifts, whom I'll gladly be

And my little pal makes toys for children - for free!

We know you've thousands of orders to fill

We'll work very hard, just let us use our skills.

Our bag is small and holds but a few

We have some samples - "May we show you?"

Santa examined them quickly, and gave his okay

"Now, to work, both of you," it'll soon be Christmas Day.

The Keeper of Gifts and his little pal, too

Were content to be doing what they liked to do.

You see, their only needs were to just use their skills

To make a Merry Christmas, as Santa's orders were filled.
